The Kawsar-e Danish suicide bombing happened on the evening of October 24, 2020, when a suicide bomber blows himself up near an education center in the Dashte Barchi area of Kabul. Killing 24 and wounded 57 others1. Most of the victims were students, aged between 15 and 26 years2. TOLONews reported 30 killed and 70 others wounded3.
Victims
The victims were young school students, aged between 15 and 26 years11. One of the victims, Ghulam Abbas Ramazani (pictured), was hoping to attend medical school12. BBC Farsi published the names and stories of four victims.

Reaction
The United Nations Security Council issued a press statement condemning the attack and stated13.
The members of the Security Council expressed their deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government of Afghanistan and they wished a speedy and full recovery to those who were injured.
